Supporting Oklahoma Children with Autism in the Child Care Setting
An introductory course for all Oklahoma early childcare providers and staff to better understand the characteristics and learning preferences of children with autism.
Using evidence-based principles from Conscious Discipline and Positive Behavior Supports, this virtual on-demand course will give providers an overview of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and practical strategies child care providers can implement immediately to support young children with ASD and related developmental disabilities. This course includes a video recording, printable handouts and resource guides, and a short quiz and survey. Once participants complete all required components, they will receive a certificate of completion.
